Recently, someone contacted me through my etsy store and wanted a custom journal.  She is currently planning her wedding, and wanted a small journal to record the planning process.  Her wedding will have a beachy, sunset theme (how beautiful does that sound?)

Here’s the journal that I put together and bound for her:

I had a lot of fun putting it together, with lots of beautiful soft aqua blues and sandy neutrals.  There were some romantic touches as well, including a gorgeous vintage illustration from an old pulp romance magazine, plus vintage wedding cake design diagrams.

To top it off, I enclosed a small bag of some coordinating bits and pieces.

Here’s the message she sent me after she received the journal.

I got this message this weekend after bits and pieces of negativity and stress throughout the weekend, and it made me feel so happy and good. It’s great to please a custom order, but I’m also just really stoked that I was able to put something together that made her so happy.
