Scene Language #1 Now Available!

As of this morning, Scene Language #1 is finally available!

Seriously, how excited am I about this.  Scene Language was always intended to be a comic book (versus a web comic) but when I started the web comic back in the summer of ’06, I didn’t think I had the chops yet to commit to a book, nor keep up.  It may have taken me 3 more years, but this is the book that I always had in mind.  Even if you read the original strip or bought the original book (and thank you for that, by the way!) you will definitely want to get in on this.  100% new artwork, as well as new dialogue and tweaks to the story.  This is how Scene Language was meant to be read, and I couldn’t be more pleased and happy with the final product.

Here is a six page preview of the book.

This first first printing was a mere 25 copies.  20 are for sale right here in my etsy store. (A second printing will be available as soon as possible.)

The other 5 are up for grabs in a little twitter contest today.  Here’s how you can win one!

1. Follow me on twitter! You don’t have to follow me to win, but that way, you’ll know when I announce winners tomorrow!

2. Retweet the following tweet: RT@coreymarie #SCENELANGUAGE #1 is available NOW and I want one! http://tinyurl.com/qpw7el (Get it on @etsy or RT this for a chance to win!) The link goes straight to this post, so people can check out the preview of the book themselves. (You can RT the whole thing, or just the bold part!)

3. Tomorrow morning I will print out all of the twitterers and draw five out of a hat!  Whoever I choose will get a free copy.

I’m pretty much in love with BattleAx all over again.

I’m also so impressed with how far the artwork has come. I’d love to show this to SitnSpin era Corey and say “LOOK WHAT YOU’LL BECOMEEEE!!!”

    Good job mama!
