I didn’t learn until I was in college about all the other cultures, and I should have learned that in the first grade. A first grader should understand that his or her culture isn’t a rational invention; that there are thousands of other cultures and they all work pretty well; that all cultures function on faith rather than truth; that there are lots of alternatives to our own society. Marvel Universe Heroes Leggings, $26.50, Hot Topic
A couple days ago, Hot Topic also had a pair of Batman leggings available for pre-order (which they’ve removed from the site since), however these Marvel leggings are pretty dope. I hope they release some more comic designs for leggings in the near future!
Here’s a sneak peek at a new project I’ve been working on… Geometric Necklaces made from book cover pieces! I’ve got a few things to tweak in order to make these sturdy enough to sell, but I’m super happy with how this prototype came out and have been wearing this one around myself. I’m hoping to have a batch of these in my Etsy shop within the next week or so. :)
