This summer’s hottest accessory is… a dust mask. Ok, maybe not. This is why I don’t write a fashion blog. ;D I’m sanding the edges of hand cut book covers that I’ve already screen-printed. Then they get bound together with mixed media pages to make mini art journals!
Some of the books that I use for my covers are very old, (I’ve come across some discarded books dating back to the 1930’s and 1940’s!) so a dust mask is a must. As Tod once put it, “this is exactly the sort of thing that someone on House M.D. would do that makes them catch some weird disease that no one’s heard of in eighty years.” Better safe than sorry!
Here’s another look at the mini journals.

I also pulled some papers tonight for a few new full sized journals that will be bound tomorrow.
OMG, you guys. I have been feelin’ the love. I’ve had several Etsy orders come in today (thank you!!) and one of my mini journals was featured in this gorgeous treasury last night! Go check it out!
I hope you’ll stop by the shop and check out some of the new one-of-a-kind art journals I’ve been listing. More will be coming to the shop tomorrow morning, too!

IT’S NEVER LUPUS COREY
haha! Except for that one time, when it was.
So awesome! You’re so industrious ( I think that’s the word :3)
Is that beef jerky??! *chomp*
These look great! And congrats on the Treasury feature… ! As always, your blog has left me feeling inspired. <3
Thanks so much, Karen! That’s incredibly sweet of you to say! :D
